"On Live At Horse Hospital London 11/13/25, Byars is joined by saxophonist Alex McKenzie and guitarists Mike O'Malley (both of caroline) and guitarist Tara Cunningham. The rising and receding tides of riffs and bleats on "11" suggest a tense US Maple or Storm & Stress rehearsal. "1111" begins in John Zorn territory but with a lighter, fizzier touch, eventually drifting into the sublime. When the guitar chords ring out of this mire, it's as though they are beaming in from the cupola of some far distant storybook castle."
